More Kitten Pictures

The kittens are enjoying exploring the house when they get a chance. Still unsure about the big cats but I think the big ones are more scared of the little ones.

New Kittens

We caught two news kittens to tame. Technically they're Pepitos brothers from a younger litter (same parents). They're eating canned food and getting used to the house. They ran pretty fast to avoid being caught but the humans won in the end! One of them hid behind a rock and assumed if he couldn't see us then we couldn't see him. But his hind end was sticking out! Hope they get along with Chito and Pepito as they get used to people and we find them loving homes in a few weeks.

Santa Anita Hike

Finally the heat subsides in LA and we're ready to hit the outdoors. We set out for some hiking in Santa Anita Canyon north of Arcadia. Trail guides said it was a cool wooded path with nice scenery (). We pushed ourselves at each leg of the hike and made the full loop of 9.5 mi. By the end we were really hurting and not in the mood to take pictures! So here's some of the early part of the trip.

Labor Day Mom Visit
